The fifth video of this series is "THE FORGIVENESS OF JESUS IS FAR GREATER THAN OUR SINS". This Divine Australia talk was live-streamed in August 2020. Fr. Michael's heart-warming sharing assures each of us of the amazing Healing Power of Christ's Forgiveness.

“Know that Jesus, the Crucified Jesus forgives you and you need to forgive yourself. Don’t live in guilt. That guilt is not from God and Jesus does not want us to live in guilt. Every time that guilt takes control of our hearts, think of the Crucified Saviour. The forgiveness of Jesus is far greater than the sins we have committed. So hold on to the Crucified Lord!”

Next Sunday (03 April 2022), Fr. Michael will share the Word of God on “THE HEART TO SHARE A PRAYER".

Michael's Spirit-filled sharing reminds us that "Repentance is a process of the mystical union of each of us with Jesus. It is our spiritual union with Jesus."

"We make Lenten resolutions but it doe not always match up. Sometimes we falter, we fail, and then we think we might as well continue this way. But it is important; if we have fallen, we need to rise again."

"How many times have we defended our sinful actions? Don't defend your sinful action. When we stand in the Presence of God, He will reveal what is there. Let us be humble enough to declare, 'Yes, Lord, I have sinned!'"

"That is more heroic. It is more spiritual challenging as you know that you have fallen, but you stand up and try again."

Lenten Series 2022 [Video 2]-"GOD's MESSAGE OF GRACE I NEED" by Fr. Micharl Payappilly V.C.

The sacred season of Lent is a season of grace for us to deepen our relationship with God. This year, the Friends of Divine 8-part, DRAW NEAR TO JESUS LENTEN 2022 WEEKLY VIDEO REFLECTION series is a compilation of spiritual talks by Fr. Michael Payyapilly V.C.. over the past year.

The second video of this series is "GOD's MESSAGE OF GRACE I NEED." This Divine Australia talk was live-streamed in March 2021. Fr, Michael''s issues a holy challenge for each of us to act upon in our lives - "We all need joy and grace in our spiritual journey. If spirituality is not joyful, then our spirituality is pretty much dead. Lent is a time when we are in union with God. A time when we are opening our ears to listen to God's voice. God's voice will always have something to speak to us so that there will be a conversion of heart. God's voice is never sent out without a purpose. Jesus' words are always directed to our hearts."

"The message of grace will always disturb. Be ready if you want God's Message of Grace, be ready to be disturbed. If you are feeling very comfortable with God's messages, then there is something wrong with our spiritual journey.

Next Sunday (13 March 2022), Fr. Michael will share the Word of God on  “OUR CHOUCE-DARKNESS OR LIGHT."

DRAW NEAR TO JESUS Lenten 2022 Weekly Video Reflection series -"BEGINNING OF LENT" by Fr Michael Payyapilly V.C.

The sacred season of Lent to examine our hearts as Catholics begins today on ASH WEDNESDAY. It is a time of holy grace for us to repent with prayers, almsgiving, and fasting, to reconcile with Jesus. This year, the Friends of Divine 8-part, DRAW NEAR TO JESUS LENTEN 2022 WEEKLY VIDEO REFLECTION series is a compilation of spiritual talks by Fr. Michael Payyapilly V.C..  over the past year.

We struggle to lead Christ-centred life when worldly life beckons us with distractions and transient comforts. Fr. Michael's Lenten reflections are a holy exhortation for every Catholic to get out of our spiritual inertia and to embrace a new permanent change of Christian growth. It is not just for 40 days of some abstinence, sacrifices, and extra prayers.

As of today, I will post a weekly spiritual video talk by Fr. Michael Payyapilly V.C. every Sunday on this Friends of Divine blog until Maundy Thursday when a Healing Adoration service concludes this series. The 8-part DRAW NEAR TO JESUS 2022 WEEKLY VIDEO REFLECTION SERIES is to help each of us introspect on our Catholic identity. Am I a disciple of Jesus?

The first video of this series is "BEGINNING OF LENT". This Divine Australia video was live-streamed in February 2021. Fr, Michael reminds us, "Lenten season is a time of grace for every Catholic to have joy and participation in personal spiritual growth. We must change for the better every season of Lent. We cannot remain the same. Then our relationship with God is just stagnant."

This Sunday (06 March 2022) Fr. Michael will share the Word of God on “PRAYING FOR GOD's MESSAGE OF GRACE I NEED."

Fr. Michael has just landed in Colombo today for a couple of days before flying to Kerala, India for a well-deserved break with his parents. He will begin his new ministry in Divine Retreat Centre, Colombo, Sri Lanka in April 2022. Livestreaming of all the services will be online on the DRC Colombo YouTube Channel.
