1st Friday Service (05 Nov 2021) by Fr. Michael Payyapilly V.C. - "HOW TO PICK AND FIGHT YOUR BATTLES"

"THE LORD WILL FIGHT FOR YOU,

AND YOU HAVE ONLY TO KEEP STILL" (Exodus `4:14)

There are times of trials and great conflicts in our personal or working lives. We desperately seek Jesus to help us overcome these painful relationships and to grant us victory.

To surrender to Jesus and to trust that He will take control of our lives is never an easy option. By nature, we humans want to be in control of our life's destiny. Yet the Word of God assures us of the Promise that Our Lord will fight for you and me, and we just have to keep still. (cf. Exodus 14:14)

1st Friday Service (01 Oct 2021) by Fr. Michael Payyapilly V.C. - "HOW TO MAKE FAMILY PRAYER POWERFUL"

"AS FOR ME AND MY FAMILY WE WILL SERVE THE LORD" (Joshua 24:15)

"The family that prays together, stays together" is a well-known phrase by Venerable Fr. Patrick Peyton, the founder of the "Family Rosary Crusade".

October is the month of the Rosary. It is good to learn to pray as a family daily with the Power of the Holy Spirit. When a family prays together, it brings the family closer to God and to one another.

1ST FRIDAY SERVICE TODAY (03 SEPTEMBER 2021) by Fr. Michael Payyapilly V.C.

"TEST EVERYTHING...HOLD FAST TO WHAT IS GOOD" (1 Thess 5:21)

In these times, we are inundated with an overabundance of information from social media and messages from friends. It is difficult to know the truth when the messages contradict each other. This happens even with postings regarding our Catholic faith. It is important to learn to discern the truth in Christ's teaching to all of us - the authenticity of God's Love to all of humankind. There is "no spin" to the Word of God. Today, we open our heart and mind to reflect "Are You Being Deceived"?"

Let us pray together by joining the  1st Friday Service today (03 September 2021) by Fr. Michael Payyapilly V.C.

It will be live-streamed on Divine Australia YouTube channel from Holy Family Parish, Doveton, Australia.

1ST FRIDAY AUGUST SERVICE (06 AUGUST 2021) by Fr. Michael Payyapilly V.C.

"WILL GOD LIVE IN THIS TEMPLE?" (1 Kings 8:27)

Many of us are in countries where lockdowns are still a part of our life and our churches are closed or with limited attendance for Holy Masses. How we practice our faith can be a challenge when the physical participation of celebrating Holy Mass  and other church activities are now online.  There are distractions that can hamper our faith journey.  Now is the time to reflect on the state of our heart - "Is God living within me?"

It will be live-streamed on Divine Australia YouTube channel from Holy Family Parish, Doveton, Australia.

We are halfway through 2021. As much as everyone has been praying and hoping for a life of normalcy, the Covid-19 pandemic is still raging in many of our countries . There is a sense of despair and anxiety when God will bring healing to our world. It is most apt that we are called to persevere in prayer and trust God.
