"Fruitful retreats will save lives. Successful retreats will count numbers. That is the same with our lives as well. We are called to be fruitful people. Where I am planted by the Lord; Where I am permitted to be by the Lord, that is where I will bear fruit because the Lord's Hand is upon me. I might not be healthy; I might not be wealthy; I might not be successful - but I will be fruitful."

"The Lord is your blessing. He will provide you enough."

"Never be a stealer of blessings. What is needed for me, the Lord will give me."

"Who Am I?" by Fr. Michael Payyapilly V.C.

This video, "WHO AM I?", by Fr. Michael Payyapilly V.C., Director of Divine Retreat Centre, Colombo, Sri Lanka is a timely reflection as we begin our New Year - 2023. "'Who am I?' That is a question we all need to ask ourselves.

"It is easy to give my name, or the place or country I am from or the state I come from." "When I ask it to myself, it is a far deeper question, It is about my identity - not just what I have on earth but my identity in the Light of Christ."

"Who am I?"

As we continue our faith journey into this New Year, may this Spirit-filled homily by Fr. Michael on 02 January 2023 help us reflect on this important question.
