There are many anointed Lenten online talks and retreats currently. This year, the Friends of Divine 7-part, OUR FAITH JOURNEY WITH JESUS 2021 WEEKLY VIDEO REFLECTION series is a compilation of talks by Fr. Michael Payyapilly V.C.. Parish Priest of Holy Family Church, Doveton, Australia over the past year of how our personal relationship with God must grow and not stay stagnant. How do we do that? How can we do so? Why should Jesus be the centre of our lives? Until we examine our heart and mind to be holy and godly, our faith journey with Jesus will remain stunted and our lives will have anxiety, worries and fears. From a worldly life, we need to strive for a Christ-centred life.
I will post a weekly spiritual video talk by Fr. Michael every Sunday on this Friends of Divine blog until Maundy Thursday. The 7-part OUR FAITH JOURNEY WITH JESUS 2021 WEEKLY VIDEO REFLECTION SERIES is to help each of us to examine our personal relationship with Jesus. Am I growing in faith spiritually to a deeper, loving and mission-focussed life for God?
The second video of this series is "I NEED TO PERMIT JESUS INTO MY LIFE."This Divine Australia video premiered in July 2020. Fr Michael reminds each of us. "Jesus comes in to change and convert...If we don't permit Jesus to come into our lives and change things around, then we are on the wrong path. We are on the wrong relationship. I need to permit the Lord to change my thinking. I need to allow the Lord to change my ways. I need to permit my Lord to challenge my relationships."
Next Sunday Fr. Michael will proclaim the Word of God on “THE OUR FATHER PRAYER - OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD".
